Rebecca Cohn is head of CED Law where she manages a team of attorneys and  paralegals in defending low-income renters against eviction in counties throughout the state of Colorado. She is responsible for tasks ranging from the development and implementation of the firm’s internal policies and procedures, training attorneys, and supervising weekly clinics at the Adams County Courthouse as well as handling her own active caseload of FED cases.

Rebecca began her legal career in 2013 as an Assistant Public Defender in Palm Beach County, FL, where over four and a half years she worked in the misdemeanor, juvenile, mental health, and felony divisions. She then moved into civil litigation as a Housing Staff Attorney at Bay Area Legal Services in Tampa, FL for two years during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Rebecca graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2013 and The College of William & Mary in 2008. She is an active member of CASA of Jefferson and Gilpin Counties as well as interim co-chair of the Colorado Women’s Bar Association’s Judiciary Committee. In her free time, you will find her running, hiking, or traveling around the globe.
