Jesse Loper

Director of Foreclosure Defense

Jesse Loper is the Director of Foreclosure Defense at CED Law. He leads a team that defends homeowners against foreclosure and other threats to their homeownership.

Jesse started his legal career at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in Denver where he worked with clients across the range of HUD’s programs. After working at HUD, he taught law students as a clinical teaching fellow in the Community and Economic Development Clinic at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. More recently, he developed affordable housing as a project manager with First Community Housing in California.

Prior to law school, Jesse served as the director of an adult English language learning program and of an after-school center for at-risk youth in New York City.

Jesse graduated from Fordham University Law School and earned his B.A. in Political Science and Spanish from the University of New Mexico. When he is not working, he loves to cycle, hike, pretend to catch fish, and experiment in the kitchen.
