Legal resources
FixMyRental: FixMyRental.org provides free resources for tenants and landlords seeking to resolve potential warranty of habitability issues. Warranty of habitability (sometimes referred to as WOH) requires landlords to maintain certain standards so that properties are fit for human habitation. This includes things like keeping plumbing and sewage in good in working order, providing heat, maintaining working windows and doors, and other issues impacting safety and wellbeing.
