Vice President of People & Culture

Heidi Fegel is the Vice President of People & Culture. Heidi oversees and supports the People team’s focus on providing operational support that promotes healthy staff and client interactions while deepening the organization’s commitment to client-centered service delivery. The People team’s vision is to cultivate a connected, prepared, and inclusive environment for staff across the organization. 

Prior to joining the organization, Heidi spent her HR career in start-up and high-growth environments through a variety of industries. But there was a desire to return to her non-profit roots that started as an undergraduate intern with a non-profit immigration legal services. Heidi finds her purpose through improving the employee experience, developing systems and processes, and being a data and analytics nerd. 

Outside of HR, Heidi loves her Michigan roots but enjoys living in Colorado with her spouse and three rescue dogs. Heidi believes firmly in petting all the puppies. When not on the couch with her dogs enjoying a good book or true crime documentary, Heidi loves to travel, eat, and explore historical sites.
